Advanced Applications Specialists, Inc. is a full-service industrial coating contractor and the premier factory-certified service provider for Belzona products and services in Louisiana and the gulf coast region.
Our History
In the late 1990s, Mr. Herman Oufnac established Advanced Applications Specialists, Inc. (AAS) to support the application needs of becoming the exclusive Distributor of Belzona products and services in South Louisiana.
Advanced Applications Specialists, Inc. is a fully licensed and insured coatings contractor in the state of Louisiana. Although there were many contractors in the area at the time, Mr. Herman realized the need for trained individuals who understood the Belzona products and how they related to the repair needs of the industries we serve.
Since this time the company has grown by leaps and bounds and is now owned by the second generation, Nicholas Oufnac. In 2014, after growing up in business and working in field operations throughout college, Nicholas Oufnac stepped in to run the business, and currently owns and operates all aspects of operations. Nick graduated in Construction Management from LSU (Louisiana State University) in 2004 and offers over 20 years of hands-on field knowledge of Belzona products and services.
